Does Patchdeck support 3rd party application patching?

You can also keep your 3rd party applications up-to-date with Patchdeck. We support a large number of applications on Windows and Linux. You can apply these patches in the same way you would apply a OS patch, either one-by-one via the dashboard or automated via patch policies. Take note, that for some applications the system may close and reopen the application when applying a patch. This can lead to data loss, so we recommend using the enduser warning option in patch policies. Another best practice is to patch third-party applications during off-business hours via a scheduled update or a patch policy.

On Mac we currently do not support third-party application patching.
